REQUIREMENTS
1. All Registered Nurse interested in signing up with Nurse Connection, Inc. must submit the following:
a. Minimum of 3 yrs professional experience in acute care setting
b. Resume (in English) with two 2x2 color picture
c. CGFNS and/or NCLEX certificate
d. Copy of current nursing license
e. Employment verification letters from all employers listed on resume
f. Copy of all degrees from school attended
g. Copy of all transcript from diploma studies
h. Certified birth certificate
i. Certified birth certificates of children who would travel with you (if applicable)
j. Certified marriage certificate and spouse's certified birth certificate
2. CGFNS Certififcation Program
Applicants must successfully complete all three parts of the certification program to earn the CGFNS Certification. Nurse Connection, Inc.
provides free assistance to all healthcare professionals who have not yet completed this process. The three parts of the program include:
a. Credentials Review (Conducted by Credential Evaluation Service)
b. Qualifying Examination of nursing knowledge
c. English Language Proficiency Examinations

3. English Language Proficiency Examinations
Registered nurses must submit a passing score on one of the following:
a. TOEFL, 540 on written or 207 on computer based TOEFL, 4.0 on TWE, and 50 on TSE.
b. TOEIC 725, 4.0 on TWE, and 50 on TSE
c. IELTS (Academic module only) 6.5, IELTS Spoken Band 7.0
Nurses from the following countries may qualify for an exemption from the English Proficiency component of the CGFNS:
Canada (except Quebec), UK, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand. Nurses from all other countries will be required to comply with the English Proficiency Requirements.
4. VisaScreen Certification:
In general, nurses applying for a Permanent (Immigrant) Visa, are required to obtain a VisaScreen Certificate. The VisaScreen certificate may be obtained
through ICHP, a division of CGFNS and the process includes:
- Review of Educational Credentials
- Review of licensure documentation
- English language skills assessment
- Passing score on either the CGFNS Qualifying Examination or the NCLEX-RN
5. NCLEX
All Registered Nurses will be required to pass the NCLEX-RN, which is a
state licensing examination. The NCLEX is given in the US and also has test sites in Guam, Saipan, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Hongkong.
Nurse Connection, Inc. encourages all Registered Nurses from Philippines to take the NCLEX in Hongkong.
